All classes are 55 minutes unless otherwise noted.
EQ Pilates Mat
Various props such as flex bands, Pilates rings, light weights, and balls are incorporated to enhance and intensify this Pilates workout. In addition, the instructor provides class participants with movement options and modifications to ensure that each person is working safely and at her/his appropriate level of challenge. With regular attendance, students will experience increased strength, flexibility, and stamina.
A fun energetic workout that fuses dance, Pilates, and yoga that will tone, define and chisel the whole body. No dance experience is needed and no partner! The Booty Barre® method is the perfect combination of strength and flexibility with added cardio to burn fat fast. Booty Barre® was conceived and developed by celebrity fitness and lifestyle expert Tracey Mallett, a former professional dancer, fitness presenter and master Pilates instructor.
BootyBarre Flex and Flow®
The BootyBarre® Flex and Flow class is the perfect blend of deep muscle toning,fluid movement from ballet, flexibility from yoga,and core strengthening from Pilates. This class is designed in specific sequences that build strength from static movements and also flexibility from long sweeping dance-based movements. A flexband is used to work multiple muscle groups against the resistance. This dynamic class is a perfect entry level class to the Booty Barre® system available to all levels.
BootyBarre Sculpt® is the next step up in BootyBarre! Following the Bootybarre class format, Sculpt adds intensity to the arms, barre, abdominal and back work! If you’re looking for a fun challenge in a barre routine, this is it!
High Energy Athletic Training. Looking for that extra boost for endurance, core strength, and flexibility? This class is it! Athletic cardio intervals are combined with lots of abdominal, arm, and back exercises. The class concludes with balance work and stretching. Don’t worry about all that sweat, we have towels!
This class is conducted on the versatile STOTT PILATES® reformer, a specialized piece of equipment that allows the user to work out using spring resistance. We require prior experience on the reformer in order to sign up for this class.
EQ Jumpboard Interval
This class is conducted on the STOTT PILATES® reformer with the addition of the jumpboard which allows the user to jump or rebound engaging the core and working the legs. This class also requires prior experience on the reformer.
EQ Couples Reformer
Get those endorphins going and get active together! Bring your significant other or your best friend. If you are already a Pilates practioner you will be able to take this basic class to a deeper level. If you are new to Pilates this is a great introduction. First time clients are asked to contact the studio before signing up so any needed modifications can be discussed.
A dynamic flow class that seamlessly blends the practices of Yoga and Pilates mat. It also incorporates balance work, stretching techniques, and anything else that we know would just feel good! Get ready break a sweat, and feel refreshed after this fun, creative blend!
This total body, high intensity style program, utilizing free weights, resistance and body weight, masterfully combines the components of R.I.P.P.E.D.— Resistance, Intervals, Power,Plyometrics and Endurance to help you attain and maintain your physique in ways that are fun, safe, doable and extremely effective. The deliberate combination of the R.I.P.P.E.D. elements and how they are precisely organized in the R.I.P.P.E.D. class format provide the basis for the One Stop Body Shock System, by stimulating both, different energy systems and muscles in each workout segment, changing the focus and activities every 6 to 9 minutes. Along with driving, motivating music, participants jam through R.I.P.P.E.D. with smiles, determination and strength. No boredom here, for all levels, R.I.P.P.E.D. is effective, it’s tough yet doable; R.I.P.P.E.D. will absolutely challenge your levels of fitness and endurance! This class requires tennis shoes. To preserve our floors we ask that students bring a clean, dry pair for class.
EQ Pre-school Pilates
Created for children age 3 to 6. This 45 minute class introduces Pilates and gross motor skills to young children using age appropriate exercises, props, stories and songs.
EQ Youth Pilates
This mat based class introduces kids ages 7 to 11 to Pilates in a fun, non competitive, interactive environment. While having a great time kids will be improving posture, coordination and strength, decreasing stress and developing a positive relationship with their bodies.
